Shooting Is The No. 2 Cause Of Injury Death For Teenagers: Are You Surprised About This?

Actually, its number 7, #1 is unintentional injury, which is broken up into categories, firearms is included in this, but it comes behind motor vehicle traffic, poisoning, and drowning. Firearms are responsible for 0.77% of teenager deaths, which means that when its considered its own category, its the 7th leading cause of death among teens, after unintentional injury (51.6%), homicide (13.7%), suicide (10.95%), cancer (5.23%), heart disease (2.93%), and birth defects (1.8%). Homicide is #2, but shooting is only a portion of that, it isnt #2 by itself.
